Folklore Ruffle Top
The Folklore Ruffle Top is a romantic, feminine blouse inspired by the embroidered peasant tops popular through the ages, but specifically in the 1920s- and 1930s.
It’s knit bottom up, with a ruffled mosaic-knit waist, fairytale-like puff sleeves, and a romantic embroidered neckline.
To achieve the gossamer effect of chiffon, I used mohair silk for the main parts, with a solid fingering weight to add support to the ribbings.
The pattern PDF includes both the Norwegian and English pattern.
