Deco Dream Dress

The most beautiful dress I’ve seen was an authentic 1930s knit dress that unfortunately was the wrong size. I therefore had no choice but to make my own – and thus the Deco Dream Dress was born!

It has feminine open slit shoulders that tie at the shoulder and elbow, and an iconic Art Deco colourblock pattern of 3 colours. The dress has endless colourcombinations to fit all tastes and seasons.

The bodice and skirt are knit seperately, and are sewn together at the end, and the seam is then covered with a knit belt.

Apart from yarn and circular needles you also need a belt buckle (have a look on etsy for authentic 1930s ones!)

The pattern PDF includes both the Norwegian and English pattern.
